1. What we store
We keep storage to a minimum. The platform uses browser local storage for your sign-in session and interface preferences, and a small number of analytics cookies described below.
2. Essential storage
Authentication tokens issued after Google sign-in are stored locally in your browser so you stay signed in. Removing them signs you out. These cannot be disabled while you are logged in.
3. Analytics
Google Analytics (GA4) is loaded only after your first interaction with the page. It records aggregate, non-identifying usage such as page views, device type and country so we can improve the research library. IP data is handled by Google under its own policy.
4. Advertising
If and when Google AdSense serves ads on this site, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. You can manage these at Google Ads Settings.
5. What we do not use
No third-party behavioural tracking pixels, no cross-site fingerprinting and no sale of personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
6. Your controls
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings, browse in a private window, or use a tracker-blocking extension. Blocking storage will sign you out but the public research library stays fully readable.
