Who publishes this site

The Reservation Hatao Andolan official (RHA India) is an independent, non-partisan, non-violent civic movement based in India. It is not affiliated with any political party, government body, corporate donor or religious organisation, and it does not accept foreign funding. Editorial responsibility for everything published here rests with the movement's Policy Research Cell, reachable at contact@reservationhataomovement.tech.

The site is written, edited and maintained by volunteers. Named authorship on a research paper indicates the volunteer desk that compiled it; where a paper is written collectively, the desk name is used instead of an individual's name to protect volunteers from harassment. Any reader may write to us and ask which desk produced a specific page.

What we publish, and why

This site exists to make one argument checkable in public: that state assistance in India should be targeted by verified household need rather than by inherited category. Everything here serves that purpose — policy papers, legal explainers, glossaries, event notices, membership information and a members' discussion space.

We publish three kinds of material. First, longform research papers with sources, method and stated limits. Second, short abstract records that flag a question the movement intends to research; these are clearly labelled as abstracts and are excluded from search indexing until the full paper is written. Third, movement documents — the manifesto, the reform charter, event and press material.

We do not publish scraped news, syndicated articles, machine-spun rewrites of other people's work, or pages built only to attract search traffic. Where an AI tool assists with drafting or copy-editing, a human volunteer verifies every factual claim and every citation before publication, and the desk that publishes takes full responsibility for the result.

Sourcing standards

Numbers are taken from primary public records: Supreme Court and High Court judgments, parliamentary questions and answers, Census and NSSO releases, Periodic Labour Force Survey data, ASER and NAS learning surveys, official commission reports, PIB releases, RTI responses and audited university or PSU disclosures.

Where the public record is incomplete, we mark the gap rather than estimating over it. Where a figure is contested, we say so and name the competing figure. We do not invent statistics, testimonials, endorsements or credentials, and we do not attribute quotes to people who did not say them.

All research on this site is opinion and civic commentary grounded in public data. It is not legal advice. It advocates only lawful, peaceful, constitutional change through Parliament and the courts.

Corrections policy

If any figure, citation or characterisation on this site is wrong, write to contact@reservationhataomovement.tech with the page address and the correct source. We aim to respond within seven days.

Substantive corrections are made on the page itself and noted at the foot of the page with the date of the change. We do not silently delete pages to avoid an embarrassing correction. A published correction carries attribution to the reader who sent it, unless the reader asks to remain anonymous.

Funding and independence

The movement is funded by small public contributions, listed openly on the support page along with what the money is spent on. Contributions do not buy editorial influence: no supporter, however large, reviews a paper before publication or can require a page to be changed or removed.

Advertising, where it appears, is served by third-party networks and is kept clearly separate from editorial content. Advertisers have no role in what we publish and no advance sight of it. We do not accept paid articles, sponsored research, guest posts or link placements of any kind.

Reader conduct and moderation

The members' discussion space is moderated. Caste abuse, communal incitement, threats, doxxing, calls for violence and organised brigading are removed and the account is closed. Disagreement with the movement's position is not a moderation offence; abusing another person is.

Membership is free, requires a verified sign-in, and can be cancelled by the member at any time. We do not sell member data. See the privacy and legal charter for what is stored and for how long.

Reuse and licensing

Original research and commentary on this site may be reproduced under CC BY 4.0 with credit to the Reservation Hatao Andolan official and a link back to the source page. Photographs, illustrations and the movement's marks are not covered by that licence.

Quotations from judgments, government reports and other public documents are reproduced for public education and comment under Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution of India and remain the property of their originators.
